Goals of the Initiative

1. Promote theological reflection, dialogue, and interpretation of our baptismal call to transform the world
2. Explore each person’s vocation to affect the world in which they live
3. Encourage Christian decision making among all the faithful
4. Amplify the Diocesan desire to promote a life of Christian service

How to bring the initiative to your parish: The Office of Lay Ministry and the Transforming the World Initiative team are now taking invitations to facilitate dialogues and gatherings for the entire parish community and in various group settings.

Possible formats:

2. Missions
3. Presentations
4. Mini-Courses
5. Working Person’s Retreats
6. Reflections
7. Lenten and Advent Events
8. Parent Nights 

Gatherings can be scheduled for any time of the year. Formats and time frames are structured to meet the needs of the inviting parish.
