Chadron St. Patrick’s students participated in a youth project hosted by St. Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology called One Bread One Cup. Two adults and three students traveled to St. Meinrad where they experienced the spirit and prayer of the monastic community. They attended skill sessions to learn about Catholic liturgy and how to use their skills during the week. They met with youth from around the country. They raised money by offering shares of stock to parishioners. Shareholder benefits included receiving a signed postcard from St. Meinrad and an invitation to a shareholder’s meeting where participants prepared a slide show from their One Bread One Cup experience. They also spent a night at the Benedictine Retreat House in Schuyler and Our Lady of the Snows Shrine near St. Louis. Participants included Cindy Kahl and Father Todd Philipsen and students Luke and Cody Kahl and Kailee Webster. (Photo courtesy, Cindy Kahl)
