As of today, over $929,000 was raised to celebrate the good work God is doing in Nebraska. 2,814 donors from 35 states made donations to 156 Nebraska Catholic organizations in Omaha, Lincoln and Grand Island dioceses. Plus $17,957 was raised for the Nebraska Tornado and Severe Weather Relief. Twenty-six parishes, schools, Newman Centers, and ministries across our diocese are blessed to have received $19,090 from 125 donors. These gifts were received from all three dioceses, plus even from Colorado, Missouri and Michigan!
Let’s congratulate our top organizations:
St. Luke’s Catholic School in Ogallala is the #1 organization on our leaderboard, raising $9,755. They used their NCDG profile to highlight their 58% increase in enrollment in the last 3 year! They did an outstanding social media blast with customized Facebook posts, plus they shared multiple donor badges celebrating and thanking their generous donors. Three of their donations came from outside the diocese: Lincoln; LIttleton, Colorado; and Branson, Missouri! Significant donations were made directly to their school that contributed to their success. These donations will help to fund the cost of technological devices and continue their excellent curriculum with their added enrollment. Congratulations to St. Luke’s School!
St Mary’s Church in Pleasanton is our top Parish and #2 on our leaderboard. They added their profile the day before NDCG and added one Facebook post that day. Their success was achieved with the tremendous support from their followers. $2,240 was given by 18 donors, this will help to offset the costs of renovating their rectory.
