Three Sisters of Life from Denver and Brother Joseph from the Knights of the Holy Eucharist in Lincoln shared all about their vocations with the Prince of Peace Faith Formation Classes on October 5th.
Sr. Lumen, Sr. Veritas, Sr. Lucia, and Brother Joseph shared with the students, kindergarten through 8th grade, what they do, explained their habits and what each piece meant and talked about their vows. After a question and answer session, they visited each classroom.
In an effort to "Ignite a Culture of Vocations" in our diocese, Amy Lowe, director of relgious education at Prince of Peace in Kearney, invited the sisters and brother in order to expose the students to what habited religious life is all about.
