The Way: A Healing Retreat for Female Survivors of Abuse

The Way:  A Healing Retreat for Female Survivors of Abuse was developed by Sue Stubbs, Director of the Victim Assistance Program in the Archdiocese of Atlanta.  The Way is a healing retreat for female survivors of abuse; a 3-day guided meditation and prayer experience for women whose abuse by another has deeply affected their heart, mind, body and soul.  The retreat is crafted around the Stations of the Cross and follows the steps Christ took to overcome dread, confusion, deep hurt, betrayal, and anger not only for His experience of abuse, but for your abuse as well.  The retreat will be held October 6-8, 2023 at Camp Comeca in Cozad.  For more information go to https://www.gidiocese.org/the-way-retreats To request an application contact Elizabeth Heidt Kozisek at 308-382-6565, 308-379-1949, or email [email protected]
