Catholic grade school plans announced in Grand Island

The Diocese of Grand Island has announced plans to build a catholic elementary school on the campus at Grand Island Central Catholic. Construction of the $9 million single-story addition connecting with the current GICC campus will begin in the summer of 2023. The 27,500 sq ft building will hold 14 classrooms and accommodate 280 students, pre-K through 5th grade. Plans are to begin accepting students for the 2024-2025 school year.
