First Wall Erected at Parish Life Center in Chadron

August 28th. The first walls started going up on our Parish Life Center. This is a sign of Progress, Hope and Joy. I think it is interesting that it happened on the feast of St. Augustine. He is a Doctor of the Church and great Scholar. Our Parish Life Center will be a place of learning and a place for people to grow in faith. St. Augustine has to be watching over us. Yesterday was the feast of St. Monica. Monica was Augustine's mother. Monica was a champion prayer who prayed for her wayward son in his younger years. This whole project has been wrapped in prayer. I'm sure St. Monica has also been watching over us.
