We serve as a point of contact for reports of church-related incidents of abuse and are available to assist all individuals in seeking support and finding resources for protection and healing.

Reporting Abuse
If you have knowledge of an incident of sexual abuse of a minor by a cleric, church employee or volunteer, you may contact one of our Victim Assistance Coordinators.
You may also report instances of sexual abuse directly to the appropriate law enforcement agency or the Nebraska Child Abuse Reporting Hot Line1-800-652-1999.
Our Diocese wishes to respond promptly and with compassion to all reports of misconduct, treating all victims with dignity, respect, and confidentiality.**Limits of Confidentiality: If the report is of sexual abuse to a minor, the Diocese is required to report the matter to law enforcement.

Catholic Bishops Abuse Reporting
The Catholic Bishop Abuse Reporting Service (CBAR) has been established to receive reports of sexual abuse and related misconduct by bishops and to relay those reports to proper Church authorities for investigation. To make a report, visit ReportBishopAbuse.org or phone (800) 276-1562. When a report includes a crime, such as the sexual abuse of a minor, it will also be reported to civil authorities. Otherwise, reports will be kept confidential.
